Has anyone been up the Evans road recently? I don't recall seeing anything in a while about it. Eagle Eye, you out there?
Thinking about hiking Rogers and Warren next weekend, on Sunday.

I didn't go up the road, but from the top of Evans on Sunday, the stretch that I could see was completely dry.

Re: Mt Evans road, recent conditions?
HEY!! The road is snow-covered but usually well-traveled/packed and skied on for the first 2 to 3 miles, and then a usable portion of the road mostly wind-blown clear the rest of the way. I haven't been up the Mt Evans road since the January 18th '21 trip I posted in Peak Conditions. I went to the gate twice since (in February) with the intention of riding up, finding the wind too fierce to even set out.
I only needed the month of February to finish the (cycling) year there. Also I've found the Strava app to be helpful for the road conditions and I think you're a member too? cheers, Mike Via (Eagle Eye)

So what you’re saying is, I could ride my ebike to the summit?!?

Thanks Capt, I did see your Spalding report and noticed that picture.
Pretty clear of snow up there.
