Is anyone familiar with current trailhead logistics for Pitkin Creek?
I'm aware there's a 3-hour limit on parking there and have read people park at the Vail Transportation Center and take a shuttle.
I'm guessing that doesn't work so well at 3am? We're prepared to park closer and/or bike it.

Re: Pitkin logistics
When we were there this past winter/spring, it wasn’t an issue parking there. Biking from Gore creek is always an option though

Re: Pitkin logistics
The last time I was there this spring the 3HR signs said "enforced Nov-May". Seems they just don't want day skiers parking there for free and busing to the resort. What I can't remember is if they had a no overnight parking or not. The backup would be Gore Creek and bike to Pitkin as suggested above. The bus doesn't run until 6am.

Re: Pitkin logistics
You’ll definitely be fine for a day trip. I had similar anxieties parking there a month ago, remembering it being a 3 hour limit during ice season, but I can confirm the sign is only for the winter months.

Sounds like we're good to go. Thanks!
