Eagle and several nests of ?? along the Colorado River right in the middle of Grand Junction as seen yesterday. Anyone want to identify the nests?

Looks like a heron rookery if I had to guess.

There were plenty of Osprey to be seen , so that was my guess, but I just read an article about Crested Butte and how they try to protect a Heron rookery that sounded like what I have in that photo. But either way, that Bald Eagle was not a local resident.
Would an eagle prey on those other chicks?
