Winter scene from Rovaniemi Finland at sunrise (at about 11:00am) a few years back on new years eve and a couple days after.
Between the low light, cold temps and duration of twilight, at sunrise and sunset, the sky had incredible colors that aren't really captured well by a camera, but they changed from pinks/purples to oranges and reds over a couple days.
Temperatures were around -20 to -5 and caused this cool crystallization of water in the air with ice particles shimmering in the dim sunlight.
