Hello All,
I was on a flight from Las Vegas to Hartford in August 2018, and snapped a few pictures over Colorado as we crossed the Rockies. I'm looking for help identifying the mountain(s) in the first picture (under the orange wing pod). Is it Sneffels and the surrounding peaks, or am I off? The clouds really make it a puzzle. For reference: I took the second pic before the first, and within the same minute. From my best reckoning, Pic 2 appears to be in the San Juans near Trout Lake, looking ESE toward San Miguel Peak and Grizzly Peak B. Also for reference: the third pic was taken 4 minutes later, looking out over Uncompahgre, Redcloud, and Sunshine.
Thanks,
Dan

I can't make out Sneffels which may or may not be under your wing, but given the description of where you were, I am guessing that the prominent peak in the lower right hand corner of the third photo, that sort of looks like Coxcomb, could be Wildhorse Peak.

Re: Sneffels or something else?
I did a side by side comparison of pic 3 with Google Earth, and I'm pretty sure it is Uncompahgre in the right hand corner, although Coxcomb looks very similar from certain angles.
