This morning that slope is disappointingly bare. I’d guess 40% of trees have dropped their leaves. Twin Lakes is past peak and on its way out!

Was in Vail yesterday and it was popping. With the stiff breeze, it’s not gonna last long folks!

Drove the loop from McClure to Kebler from Sat-Monday. Peak for both areas and just beautiful. I was really impressed with some of the Brush Oak. Fantastic color. Lot of wildfire haze unfortunately. Wind all night long in Horse Ranch Park last night probably ushering in the beginning of the end.
