In addition to all those problems the video link isn't showing up - at least for me.RosieTheSummiter wrote:Greetings, all.
Here is a video clip of Andrew's finish on Longs last night(...er...this morning??). You'll have to forgive the quality because I am short, I was in the back, it was dark, and it is an iPhone.

It was an unforgettable experience to be at the finish line yesterday and seeing Andrew come to his goal. Cave Dog speech was very emotive, thanks for being there!
I attached some of the pics we took.

Re: 2015 14er Speed Record Attempt
A marathon a day with elevation gain >14,000' with the four great traverses thrown in!
To put that in perspective, last week we did Kings Peak, UT as an overnight backpack. Our plan was to drive to NV the next day and then get Boundary the following day. On the hike out I said, you know we should take 2 rest days instead of one between the peaks. The limitations of being mortal! Did dogs bark at Andrew on the way by? Perhaps he's a cyborg!

Incredible...I would have loved to come out yesterday night (should have done it!) and congratulate Andrew and the team. I can't really add anything that hasn't been said, but Andrew, a huge congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! I'll be sending the bill later for the lost hours at work while watching the Delorme page.

For a mountain lover like me, it was a privilege to follow "live" his steps through all the posts here and gps data for these less than 10 days! Wish I were there at the finish.
Unbelievable effort, I was complaining about my sore feet after hiking Lindsey only last week...
Chapeau Andrew Hamilton, I'll have a thought about you every time I start wondering: what am I doing here today?!
An Herculean effort Sir...

It was nice to meet you tonight Andrew! What you have done is amazing, and has inspired myself as well as others!
Re: 2015 14er Speed Record Attempt
So does Andrew have any speaking events planned yet? I'd love to hear his story.
