Tabeguache or Antero better for dogs?
I have a super fit lab mix that I'll be taking to do either Tabeguache or Antero this upcoming weekend, which one is safer for dogs? Or any other suggestions that are in that area? Thanks!

Took my lab mix up Antero a few years ago- she did fairly well but wasn't used to walking such a distance on the sharp rocks. That was my bad decision. Paws were just swollen and beat up by the end of the day. We both enjoyed soaking our feets in the creeks haha I kept wondering why she would just stop in the snowfields and look at me like.."really?"
Took her on some shorter hikes later on to toughen up her pads/paws. Have fun! Shavano is a good one for dogs too-about 7 miles shorter and less time on the rocks above treeline.

Don't listen to me-you've already done Shavano.
