KNEES for sure especially after doing multi day climbs. Coming down has taken a toll however a friend told me about Glutamine pills and they have really helped.

My real issue is that I am from an alien planet, and my incredible power comes from the light of your yellow Earth sun and that one day that sun will extinguish itself.

Didn't know 'til I broke my left foot a couple years ago (coming down lil' ol' Mount Morrison no less) that my feet are both deformed. Spent 4 months in a boot. Was told by the podiatrist I could break it again given the deformity. Wife said "you're gonna stop hiking, right?" Nope. ROFLMAO.

Re: What injuries do you have?
Climbed Aconcagua a few weeks after a left leg injury when a ~100 lb chunk of ice hit it while ice climbing. Luckily it was only soft tissue damage and barely missed my knee.
Punctured my left foot on Ellingwood point near my summit (loose rock) and had to hike all the way back down with a pretty bad wound (fixed it up enough with my first aid kit). It got infected a week later too. I still have a good scar from that one and I was never able to clean all the blood off my shoe.
Tore my labrum in my right shoulder mixed climbing in hyalite canyon (Montana).
Tore some stuff in my right ankle trail running after a bad fall. It still clicks but it doesn't hurt anymore. The doctor said that there wasn't much they could do with it anyway.
Pretty sure my right knee is also on the way out, sigh....

Hiking barefoot were you?
That seems like it wouldn't work well, for me at least.
