It's perfect on me, where other packs like the Gregory Alpinisto felt great empty but turned very uncomfortable with over 20 lbs in it.
this is the best suggestion for finding the right backpack that i've probably ever read. this problem has happened to me with three brands. everyone's body is different and carries load differently, which is why there are SO many options out there GL OP

Has anyone here dealt with Gregory warranty before? After a couple seasons my Zulu 30 has an inop zipper, amongst several other deteriorating issues. I absolutely loved the pack, but their customer service isn’t the best. I’ll probably switch to hyper lite or back to Osprey (hopefully not Deuter again). I’m not easy on my gear, but would expect a pack to last more than 2 seasons. Guess I’m stuck with their 58L in the meantime.

Look at mystery ranch. The top lid can be taken off lowering the overall volume of the pack.
A 65 becomes somewhat a 50-ish.
They are bombproof. I have a 32, 50 and 65 :-D
