This has been a tough year, Bridwell, Lowe, and now Tom.

Sad to see the passing of yet another great climbing legend. Tom Frost was a visionary pioneer—bold, brave, strong, and unyielding. May he rest in peace forever, and may his memory always be a blessing.

RIP Tom! A true pioneer, he and Royal are off getting FA's together somewhere in the heavens.

My girlfriend and I just got a copy of Roger Brown's "Sentinel: West Face", shot in 1963, Tom Frost filmed a lot of the climbing sequences for it. It's Royal Robbins and Yvon Chouinard climbing the Sentinel in Yosemite. Old school, and really cool. Just watched it early last week. Check it out if you can find a copy.

Saw that film in the early eighties. An outstanding film for it's time documenting two of the greats working up Sentinels west face. It was inspirational to my partners and I, just made us want to spend more time on the Valley walls.
