Doing a car shuttle from Silver Creek TH and Williams Creek TH? Basically the standard route from Silver Creek/Grizzly Gulch all the way to 13,811, then dropping south onto the Williams Creek trail. This route would be 12.5 miles, 4050 feet and includes a loop. The original out and back route is 12.5 miles, 4700 feet. So you save about 650 feet of gain by not having to resummit 13,832, plusssss you'll get to see new and interesting stuff on the way down. And the car shuttling should be pretty quick and easy.
Heres a TR on it https://www.14ers.com/php14ers/triprepo ... trip=20249

Plus if we feeling froggy, could go snag Cooper Creek Park peak. It would add 2 miles and 750 ft gain.
This is my plan for Saturday minus Cooper Creek because I can tell you now I will not be feeling froggy haha. I'm slow though, so you could probably go grab it and catch up to me by the time I got down to Williams Creek TH (probably sooner). Let me know if you are interested!
interested! (also not anticipating feeling froggy)

I'm thinking 13,795 + Campbell Creek Peak and maybe Matterhorn.

Is this just us sitting around drinking beer? Or do we have to climb something? Can I fish?
You can do whatever you want, as long as you show up!
Come on, Zach, you are required to climb something!!
Zach, you can hang out with us, probably doing something easy... so there will be time to fish.

As long as he shows, I don’t care if he washes all of our cars while we’re out hiking

Anybody interested in Pole Creek Mountain & NW Pole? Toying with the idea of driving over Cinnamon for these remote two. Pretty early start.

Be aware. Some people tend to get froggy around the campfire at night. \:D/

Kiefer, not sure if you considered, but those are day trip-able from Cataract Gulch TH.
I did them from there in 2019, and probably took about 12-13 hrs.
I think about 18 miles? I have it mapped at home, and could give more details later if interested.

This was a route I was considering for the gathering as well but don’t mind trying to get over cinnamon and Stoney.

Kiefer- When we ran into you on the Cataract trail a few years ago that is exactly what we were doing. Seems that with all the driving over passes you'd be unlikely to save much if anything with the drive and this was a pretty enjoyable hike. I don't have a GPX track of our hike but could sketch it out over a map or post some photos if you'd like.

The gpx track I have on Topo! (pulled from mapmyfitness track) shows 18 miles w/6350' gain.
And I agree with Mike, it's a good day and decent route. I actually did it in 2020, not '19 like I previously wrote, not that it matters. ;)

Sorry but I haven't gone back through all the subsequent posts since I posted on "Page 2" here to see what everyone is doing and who exactly I can join.

I'm planning on camping (or car camping) Mill Creek Friday night then hitting the Un-named 13-8 Cents.
Then potentially hit Sunshine and Redcloud on the way back if I'm up for it at that point. Like this Trip Report.
I have to return to Denver Saturday evening.

This is my current tentative plan now.
If you can't run, you walk
If you can't walk, you crawl
If you can't crawl, you find someone to carry you
