Looking for a geezer climber
Am 68, experienced and in good shape for my age. Want to climb the following beginning next summer: Pyramid Pk, North Maroon, Snowmass, the Wilsons, Castle Pk, Sunshine, and Sneffels. Yeah, most are difficult but doable. Anybody old want to try?

Define old. I’m hitting Sneffels up this summer if you’d want to partner up.
Re: Looking for a geezer climber
I'd like to get the Bells this summer/fall. Wanted to do them in 2020 but the guy I wanted to partner up with didn't want to fly out here due to Covid (can't say I blame him). Would prefer to have someone along who's done the route and if we can do that, count me in.

Cygnus X1 and I came up with the idea and I generated this image. You will have to take it to a print shop where they do shirt transfers. Since it's just a 1-color image it should be inexpensive - ie, maybe $20 including the shirt. It's not actually trademarked.

Most of those are on my list for next summer. I am 61 and hike at a moderate pace.1st14erAt50 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 7:35 pmAm 68, experienced and in good shape for my age. Re: Looking for a geezer climber
I am Geezer Climber! I did all those in my early-mid 60s when I was young and nimble. Probably not again. I'll be 70 all too soon and I'd be lying if I said I haven't lost any agility and balance in the last 5 years. Oldsters like us do have a disproportionate number of accidents on the hard peaks, so be careful, be safe. Good luck.

Fortunately, I have about the same agility and balance as when I was in my 60's. Unfortunately, my agility and balance were pretty bad then, too...GeezerClimber wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 10:36 amI am Geezer Climber! I did all those in my early-mid 60s when I was young and nimble.
