I think some of you became the troll since this is after all, my post. you can believe what you like. I wont be climbing with you
Is this the adult version of "I know you are, but what am I?"... dude, you've got so many red flags you should take that international climbing experience of yours to Soviet Russia.
If you think so. I am simply defending myself after posting a personal Wanted Poster. you are a troll whether you would like to admit it? up to you. I guess climbing in three other countries gives you international experience. I dream of going to Russia. Good Climbing there. Everyone gets their shot tonite. tomorrow morning everyone that doesn't make it gets cut off the post

Oh Please, keep this thread going! This is up there with TallGrass!

Went to a CMC talk I believe in 2012 with Ed Viesturs, and he did a QA at the end. Someone asked if he had ever "conquered a Colorado 14er" and he literally laughed at them, one of my favorite Colorado memories overall.
I love how self-absorbed Colorado climbers get, myself very much included. We think we are so hard for having done the 58 when in reality most of those are just walk-ups. Looking at some of the routes in the Cascades, Sierra, Tetons or even the more difficult 13ers is humbling for sure!
I am not saying it's not a worthy achievement. I am just saying it's not as much as of a badge of honor outside of Colorado because there are lots of cool and challenging mountains in other places as well. I love Colorado and all of our mountains, but 14ers is not to mountaineering what Yosemite was to rock climbing.
Fully agree!

I agree, but i am bagging 14'ers this trip. If i get a chance to climb something while i am up there i will. I retired from Yosemite so this is what i have next on the bucket list. Next year will be different and somewhere else.

I love that pic for your profile. That movie was interesting for sure. I am a retired chef. My soups are great! I cook every night. Climb by day. Eat and drink at night. Repeat 20x in a month.

This thread has been hilarious.
One of the more entertaining reads I've had in a while.
