I like to start after noon if I run up a mountain.

That's fine. sometimes i see those guys. I am done in 6 hours, you probably 3 or 4 hours. When i did Sunshine, Red Cloud and Handies in a day, (20) miles, it took me 12 hours

Rats, I was gonna apply. But when I did Sunshine, Redcloud and Handies in a day it took me 7:45. Guess my pace wouldn’t work.

Okay all. I am going to bed. Got to get up at 5am and climb the local crag in the snow tomorrow morning. Training in the snow is essential for those huge 14ers i will be doing.

No..too fast. I got a knee issue and a broken neck. Nice Stats if they are true. I walked with a 35 pound pack and took a 2 hour break in between Sunshine/Red Cloud and Handies. Still did it in 12 hours though. I got hammered by a storm on my way to Sunshine.

NO. That would refer someone that grew up or lived in MA for awhile. I lived in The Berkshires for 2 years, but never became a Masshole. Moved to DC in 2005 and worked as a contractor for the government.

Looks like G&T should be about 3300’ or so combined, rather than separated.

Generally these are day hikes except for the Chicago Basin ones. I’m just not always the most prepared or fastest hiker out there, and probably won’t qualify or meet your stringent standards. I forgot to wear shoes on a third of those peaks, actually.
