Rats, I was gonna apply. But when I did Sunshine, Redcloud and Handies in a day it took me 7:45. Guess my pace wouldn’t work.Jbroscious wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:41 pmThat's fine. sometimes i see those guys. I am done in 6 hours, you probably 3 or 4 hours. No..too fast. I got a knee issue and a broken neck. Nice Stats if they are true. I walked with a 35 pound pack and took a 2 hour break in between Sunshine/Red Cloud and Handies. Still did it in 12 hours though. I got hammered by a storm on my way to Sunshine.Will_E wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 7:51 pmRats, I was gonna apply. Elevation gain is exaggerated, but this was my day.Jbroscious wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 7:55 pmNo..too fast. I got a knee issue and a broken neck. Nice Stats if they are true. Re: Summer 2021 Partner for Harder or Desolate Peaks
My 2021 14'ers List:
Name Class Vertical Feet Miles
El Diente 3 4100 13
Sunlight 4 6000 17
Windom 2 6000 17
Eolus 3 6100 17
Uncompahgre 2 3000 7.5
Wetterhorn 3 3300 7
San Luis 1 3700 14
-Grays 1 6600 9
-Torreys 2 * *
Evans 2 4250 12
-Harvard 2 6000 12
-Mt. Columbia 2 * *
Yale 2 4300 9
Missouri 2 4500 10.5
Quandary 1 3300 6
Sherman 2 2100 5
Mt. Holy Cross 2 5600 12
Mt. Massive 2 4400 13.5
La Plata 2 4500 9
Mt. Belford
-Mt. Oxford
Looks like G&T should be about 3300’ or so combined, rather than separated.
Generally these are day hikes except for the Chicago Basin ones. I’m just not always the most prepared or fastest hiker out there, and probably won’t qualify or meet your stringent standards. I forgot to wear shoes on a third of those peaks, actually.

Forgetting shoes? Who hasn't frankly. I've been fucked by weather, wind, snow and poor planning often enough that I have started bringing condoms just in case. #staysafe
