I love that pic for your profile. That movie was interesting for sure. I am a retired chef. My soups are great! I cook every night. Climb by day. Eat and drink at night. Repeat 20x in a month.

Oh: movie aficionado. Forgot that.

You know, i've been volunteering on a 100 acre farm for free food all year and i have never heard of a dill hole? Other than the hole made by the transplant tractor and then a guy puts the plant in it. Yes i have a aftermarket plate on the bottom of my Prius protecting against the dings and anyone dumb enough to try and steal my catalytic converter.highpilgrim wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:32 pm1) chefJbroscious wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:16 pm

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

Are you the same guy that has a goal to climb 5.13 this year? Nope he can't lead 5.8 yet.
i like my guides to be in the .10 range

I agree. NO goal for 5.13. I broke my neck in 2008. Haven't done much above 5.10 since then. I was a 5.11 climber, and for a guide that is good enough to scare a lot of people.CaptC02 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:44 pmAre you the same guy that has a goal to climb 5.13 this year? I clearly said i can lead 5.8? So yes, i can climb 5.8 solid. I can climb 5.9 and 5.10 occasionally. Question that guy asked me was "what can i lead" - at present 5.8CaptC02 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:44 pmJbroscious wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 12:35 pmI wish you realized who you were talking to. What did you do in the Valley? I climbed there for years. Also interested what you did on the east coast. Did you mention the Gunks? I climbed there for several years too.Jbroscious wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:51 pmI clearly said i can lead 5.8? So yes, i can climb 5.8 solid. I can climb 5.9 and 5.10 occasionally. I climbed for 26 days straight at Yosemite in 2012. Yes, after my neck surgery. I like Tuolumne Meadows. Daff Dome, Lembert Dome, Fairview Dome, Stately Pleasure dome, Cathedral Peak, etc...most Valley Climbs below 5.10. Half Dome, El Cap pitches, Royal Arches, and probably 50 other routes in the 5.6-5.9 range
