cant wait to see the poop emoji on my checklist

But can you claim the icon if you used toilet paper or only if it was accomplished all natural? I once wiped with a couple handfuls of fresh hail...

this could be the difference between "pooping on a peak" vs "pooping a peak", bill we need to add an asterisk to the poop checklist

Absolutely dying. This gets my vote to win the internet today.

Serious question: It has to take place above treeline to count, right?

While this does not address specific checklist requirements, it's a solid reference that should be considered mandatory reading for anyone thinking about getting out and pooping in the wild. If you feel the urge to read this book, I'd suggest not putting it off. Oh, by the way, I notice that there is now a 4th edition that came out in 2020 so I could be a little behind on this subject.

They had to add a section on how to properly use a mask as toilet paper. 😷

Above treeline requires smearing technique. (Search confirms that this topic was covered here already: https://14ers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... 64#p684088)

So leaving your own Jackson Pollock in the alpine - yes; leaving Winged Victory of Samothrace - no.
