TR captions

Post by JQDivide »

Hey Bill,

Depending on which browser/computer I'm using, I'll get options for photo captions (on PC)

But when using an Apple, I don't get a caption option when I drag and drop photos into a TR.

On Apple, I'll get...
<p><img class="v2-tripphoto v2-tripborder1" title="Photo #1" src="../usercontent/trips/2020/20399/20399_01.jpg" alt="20399_01" /></p>

But on PC I'll get this, with caption info...
<figure class="image"><img class="v2-tripphoto v2-tripborder1" title="Photo #35" src="../usercontent/trips/2020/20353/20353_35.jpg" alt="20353_35" />
<figcaption>Carbonate from the Tab west ridge from earlier this summer.</figcaption>
</figure>

But later on, TR that was completed on my PC, if I open it on Apple the figure / caption coding is there.

Guessing this is just a browser issue during the creation of a TR?
I can easily switch computers to add captions later.

Yeah, probably a Mac drag-n-drop specific thing. I'll dig out my Mac and do some fiddling... gross :P

Thanks!

They make wonderful $1500 technology for browsing the internet.

I tested the TR pic drag-n-drop process on the Mac and found that Safari inserts the caption template stuff properly, Google Chrome does not. I'll check into it further to see if I can determine what Google is doing different on the Mac.
Thanks again

EDIT: I made a change that should accommodate what Chrome is doing on the Mac and insert the caption stuff properly upon drag-n-drop.
