Zoom broken on Google Maps?

There seems to have been a very recent and unfortunate change in the Google maps option -- the zoom in/out (+/-) button has disappeared. It is possible to zoom in by double-clicking, but not to zoom out. Pinch to zoom works in Chrome but not in Safari (MacOS). Is this something that 14ers.com can fix?

On a Mac, I usually use the two finger up/down swipe to zoom. Seems to work universally. But, yeah, the buttons appear to be gone.

Ok, you got me, I'll put the zoom control button back on there. When making the most recent slide-out panel changes, I removed it so it doesn't get so cluttered. I'm actually surprised is used much because the user has to move the cursor to the zoom button to use it.

Mouse:
Double Left click : Zoom in
Double Right click : Zoom out
Scroll wheel : Zoom in - Zoom out

Keyboard:
+ key : Zoom in
- key : Zoom out
Arrows : pan map
Home, PgUp, PgDn, End : pan map broadly
