GWB would never say that. It is not politically expediant. But, more and more scientists are saying it.

I don't believe that more and more scientists are saying this. Which ones? Are they funded by the Cato Institute? Care to name two scientists that doubt it?

I do believe that more and more talk radio hosts are saying that more and more scientists are doubting global climate change (remember, "warming" is passe). But of course they have there own agenda, and it certainly isn't to help us move past this silly debate.

Quite a bit of work has been done lately regarding solar cycles and their influence on the climate, that is starting to look like an important factor in the whole warming thing. It's not a silly debate if the AGW theories are wrong, since Al and company pretty much want to destroy our economy to reduce emissions.

"One solar scientist recently published a paper on the issue of climate and sunspot activity, and found that the most striking feature is that looking at the past 1,150 years the sun has never been as active as it has been during the past 60 years.

"Although the relationship between causation and correlation is an issue, global temperatures over the last 60 years have been very warm compared to historical norms."

Funny . . . I don't recall a debate ever being "allowed." Certainly not by Al Gore and the crowd who have hijacked the whole scientific method and refused to allow an honest, genuine debate on the facts. Nope, anyone who dares question the conclusions, let alone the data, is ridiculed and ostracized.

Then there's the idiotic 60 Minutes piece a few months ago where Leslie Stahl told Al Gore that there was disagreement within the scientific community about his theory. Al asked her to name someone who disagreed with it, and I'm expecting her to give the names of a few prominent scientists. I'm at the edge of my seat wondering how Al would respond. So who does she name? Dick Cheney!!!! Give me a frickin' break!!! Larry King couldn't have thrown a softer softball.

Did anyone actually read this petition. It actually says, Honest to God:
"The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the enviroment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind."
I think that just about says it all about the people who signed this petition.

I don't know why so many people think reducing greenhouse gases is such a bad thing. Other than forcing people to change their habits and making companies more environmentally/socially responsibe, what's so negative about it?
