The Baron is known as an effective communicator and master of the English language.
He is a holdout of those skills and values here on the Internet.
So;
I ask the Baron to add to his "Sharing Wisdom" links.
A dissertation on how to properly employ the written word is desperately needed.

England wrote:This is funny. I was just talking to tenpins about this member a few weeks ago. I'm guessing it's some computer geek that reads alot of climbing/mountaineering books, and never actually gets out. The whole pseudonym thing is pretty lame... Also, I think this member is also responsible for starting the whole england sucks thread last year. Maybe I'm wrong. The Barons posts are usually good reading though.
Having tied in with The Baron on a couple of occasions, and enjoyed cold beverages with him on several more, I can testify to:
(a) computer (and technology in general) geek? yes
(b) climbing/mountaineering book smart? yes
(c) never gets out? no - he gets out A LOT. If he's not the strongest technical rock and ice climber on this forum, he's got to be in the top 99th percentile.

Also, I don't like to be *that guy* that points out typing and grammar mistakes on a forum, but I can't help it this time. Meet the Alot:

The Alot is an imaginary creature that I made up to help me deal with my compulsive need to correct other people's grammar. It kind of looks like a cross between a bear, a yak and a pug, and it has provided hours of entertainment for me in a situation where I'd normally be left feeling angry and disillusioned with the world.
