The beer is solid, yes. But they stopped making some of my favorites (Meph, The Kaiser, ect) to produce more stuff like this, a trade down IMO.
http://www.brewbound.com/news/2017/aver ... ite-rascal

"But in order to explore those experimental offerings, the company needed to make some hard decisions, discontinuing six popular beers — The Beast grand cru, Samael’s Ale English-style barleywine, Mephistopheles stout, The Kaiser Oktoberfest, The Czar Russian imperial stout, Salvation Belgian strong pale ale and Dugana IPA — which had been part of its Demons and Dictators series."

No Czar either which IMO was one of the better imperial stouts to come out of CO and bottle ages very nicely. Dugana was another favorite. Also, sounds like in the article they are going to market and push for more white rascal sales since that is one of the most popular beers, makes sense from a monetary standpoint. One plus is that they're going to produce a lot more Maharaja.

While I still love Avery, I can't help but reminisce about the days when they were off of Arapahoe, still fairly unknown and could go grab a beer without fighting crowds.

50:50 mixture of Coors Light:Bud Light is where's it at. Talk about double refreshment after a long day at the gym.

I've never had to fight off a crowd on my couch. Although my dog has been kicking me off lately.

You're supposed to start a correction like this with, "Technically..."

Whisky/bourbon/scotch sucks and should not be mentioned in a beer thread.
