Boreas Pass Open?

Post by Tornadoman »

Does anyone know if Boreas Pass is still open or know who I can contact to find out? Thinking of making a trip out for Boreas and Bald on Friday and was wondering.

Thanks,
Andrew

I'm not sure. It might be open. I would try calling either the South Park Ranger District or Dillon Ranger District offices:

South Park Ranger District:

P.O. Box 219, 320 Hwy 285
Fairplay, CO 80440
Phone (719) 836-2031
Fax (719) 836-3875

Dillon Ranger District:

680 Blue River Pkwy, Silverthorne, CO 80498
970-468-5400

Lure,

Thanks for the phone numbers. In case anyone else is wondering- I called the South Park office this morning and Boreas Pass remains open from 285 to the Pass. They thought it was probably open from the north as well, but weren't certain.
