I am considering a 4 day/3 night backpacking treck from Tobacco Lake TH (S. San Juans), camping in the Tobacco Lake vicinity, and playing around on Conejos Peak and the surrounding treeline area. Does anyone know the snow conditions going to the TH, along the trail, and up the peak? I've heard the south mountains had a dry winter, but I'll be there the first week in June, and I anticipate some snow.
Thank you.
