Any official links about CR 18? Was looking on Pike FS site and don’t see any closure postings. Just fire restrictions.

Thanks

The 285 closure from Fairplay to Antero was lifted yesterday so you are all set.

Where did you see that CR 18 to Fourmile is closed? I can't find that info.
The closure of 285 was about 100 yards in front of the turn off (if you are driving south out of fairplay), they were only allowing local traffic through when I was driving by. Since 285 is open now the access should be restored.

County Road 18 (Fourmile Creek Road) is now open all the way to the locked gate above Leavick. A group of friends & I climbed Mt. Sherman from there on Tuesday (7/10). We saw no smoke at all from the Weston Pass Fire.

Looks like US285 is a hard close for the moment due to road damage from flash flooding.

I was just checking this out as well. The detour onto 9 and 24 doesn't look like it'll add much time. I'm still choosing to go that way on my return from the Blanca massif tomorrow afternoon.

I took that detour a couple weeks ago due to the fire traffic, it only added about 20 minutes to the drive.
