Despite this we are being priced and crowded out of our ancestral state, so please tell me why we shouldn't be frustrated? =)
That's gotta be one of the most impressive native-trump-card pulls I've ever seen!

I'm surprised people haven't jumped on that fact! But instead they're talking about signs and people who have moved to CO.
It's scary that people can't even find their way to the (correct) TH for 14ers. About a year ago, I was camped along the road above Winfield, but below the La Plata TH. Twice people stopped and asked for help finding the La Plata TH.

As a home owner, the rising prices are great. My main concern is that Texas is not giving us their best and brightest. They keep sending us their rapists, murders, trail-poopers, and people who need SAR when a mid-summer snowstorm strikes a 14er. We need to build a wall around the dumb part of the Lone Star state, the area where everyone owns a 2wd pickup truck and their hats are 5x bigger than their brains.
I fully agree, which is why I think we should all immediately boycott Rudy's BBQ on 24 in the Springs and that Cowboy's nightclub downtown. Both of these places are just attracting Texans like flies to, er... They also love our open public lands where shooting their AR-75 rifles and playing their outlaw country music at high volumes is both permitted and encouraged (by Colorado's own country folk). Dag nabbit, someone has to take a stand.
I've been waiting for the safety & sign whigs to complain about Honnold's latest "scramble." We need a sign at the base of the diamond! And that arrogant a-hole is being so cavalier...doesn't he know a beginner could be reading his instagram?
