mike shanahan ridge is totally sick

was quite late but ended up busting up fern canyon anyway - and just busted my ass double time up to bear peak

it was a little icy and treacherous at times - more so for the final 1/3rd or so - the interior of that canyon is relatively better.

also - they say Devilshead is called that because from the south by woodland park if you look north it has two twin 'horns'

but South Boulder Peak/Bear form a much more seen and potent devil horn-head look from a much larger populace

its cool back there! that was some ups going up that fern gully - the emergence sector is quite nice though more that worth it
