Although there’s still a fair amount of green, I’d say Kebler and Ohio are at peak, and truly stunning at that. The wind has been whipping the past two days doing a lot of damage along with some rain overnight Thursday. McClure Pass was done for. Almost all stands were incredibly dry and thus had either lost all their leaves or were brown.

In general it seems like the Front Range is at/past peak and disappearing fast. Gettem while it's hot.

Yes, the show is about over in this part of the state. Went from Denver out I-70 to Breckenridge - some decent color here and there but overall doesn't seem as vibrant as some years.

Up Boreas Pass much of it was stripped totally bare, many sections that remained were brown or very dull but there were still a few really nice stands here and there (the photo is from there).

Came back around through Kenosha Pass - I'd say it was more than "just past peak" - quite a bit past. We didn't even stop, but there were still tons of cars there - maybe if you got out and hiked you could find some decent spots still.

From Kenosha along 285 to Denver not too much of a show but some bits of color here and there. It's now or never if you want to see color around these parts...
