Well I had a goal of 20 new summits for this year and I’m falling quite a bit short. So I’ll probably restart that goal, but maybe do 21 new summits, because 2021.
I’m more inclined to do 13ers as I like the solitude better, and some of the 14ers I have I have left are scary IMO lol I do have a short list of 14ers that are still on the class 2/3 side so I’m hoping to hike those. I’d like to build up some more skills before tackling some of the major beasts.
So we shall see!
Good luck to everyone and their adventures. And here’s to hoping for a safe and healthy 2021!

1. Continue to challenge myself with big days in the mountains.
2. At least two winter 14er / 13er ascents.
3. Spring couloirs (Hagerman via Hagar's Way, Sneffles Snake Couloir anyone?).
4. At least one out-of-state 14er / 13er ascent.
5. Break 22 hr on the Crestone Centennial Circuit (see #1).
6. Get even more better at jumping bikes, specifically doubles.
7. Race, preferably bikes.
8. Get a 'good' job.
9. Move away from Fort Collins, unless that interferes with #8.
10. Desert szn (bonus points if combined with #1 and #4 - maybe Badwater to Whitney duathlon?).
11. Limit distractions.
12. Continue to foster a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
13. Stay nicotine free.

While not as lofty or detailed as some others here:

1. Finish the front range 14ers (Longs and Pikes once the new summit house is open)
2. Spend a weekend at Grizzly Gulch and hit the three 14ers there to test out my new backpacking gear.
3. Use said backpacking gear to hike some mountains with longer approaches or 4x4 trailheads since I do not have a 4x4 car.
4. Get into some class 3 climbs (definitely Sneffels, Longs, and Wetterhorn)
5. Do a climb in new regions (San Juans, Sangres, Indian Peaks, Wild Basin)

1. Bag at least 2 winter 14ers, preferably ones that I haven't already summitted. Shooting for Humboldt Peak and something in the Sawatch.
2. Finish the 14ers. I'm hoping to do 5-10 in the winter/spring which would leave 25-30 for the summer & fall.
3. Summit 5-10 Centennials along the way. So far all I have is Cronin Peak.
4. Ski at least one 13er or 14er. I just switched from snowboarding to skiing this year, so it may be a bit of a stretch goal, but a goal nonetheless.

Highest on the list, help my son finish the 58 before his 16th birthday in Sept. 12 left:
Snowmass
Little Bear probably by SW ridge
Wilson Group
Chicago Basin
Capitol
The Bells
Hoping to complete the 2 grand traverses on the list, our 1st 2

Get at least 6 new 14er snowflakes, mainly in the Sawatch:
Yale, Antero, Massive, Elbert, Princeton and either Shav/Tab or Bel/Ox

Repeat Tour de Abyss

Try non standard routes up some of our favorite 14ers
