I lived in eastern KS for 25 years and never visited a lot of the western part of the state, although I would love to see that in person.

Do you live out that way?
No I live in Kansas City but I am out that way for storm chasing every year. You should see it as it is only 30 miles south of I-70 if you are ever going along that highway.

I've driven around western KS (a lot) for the last 17 years, and Monument Rocks and the railroad trestle over the dry Cimarron River just east of Liberal are the only things worth seeing. And that's stretching it.

Oh! Travel, too. Forty nine states and seventeen countries so far.
concert posters! nice, any bands in particular? My poster tubes were getting out of control. I recently got a few portfolios for them. mostly dmb stuff, but have a handfull of other artists.

Bought it about 10 years ago. Base Camaro, not RS, SS, or Z28 but it's now an SS "tribute." Originally born with a 6 cylinder but a previous owner had put a 350 in it. I started my engine/tranny swap project in April. 'New" engine is a 5.3L out of a 2004 Avalanche. Also put a Tremec 5-spd manual transmission w/OD in it. Just got the engine started last week but can't drive it yet.

But won't it freeze?
It might at times. But thanks to global warming, it doesn't really get very cold here in mizzery any more. The standing water I have in a deep bird bath has only frozen solid once this winter that I've seen. And even when it freezes solid it thaws quickly.

Also, I'm going to keep Koi and they are cold hardy and will be fine unless it freezes solid. I've been thinking of putting a heater in to prevent that.

My bigger concern is my local resident racoons who are quite fond of fish.
