Re: Any LGBT 14er finishers?
There are, but 14er finishers don't usually advertise sexual orientation. It's pretty irrelevant. For sure at least one of the persons I go on trips with on occasion fits in that category, but I'm sure that there are many more.
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.
I’d imagine this is a question better directed to an LGBTQ+-focused audience rather than a mountaineering-focused one, like maybe Colorado-based queer-friendly hiking groups? Maybe searching #14erfinisher on Instagram and seeing how many people who posted that hashtag also have posts or info in their bios indicating that they’re part of the community?
Statistically speaking, there have got to be at least *some* non-cishet finishers, but from unfortunate personal experience (not here, happily), I can see why posters on mountain-specific sites would rather keep the focus on how cool mountains are and save mention of any other part of their life that might trigger a flood of PMs containing slurs, totally 100% qualified and accurate mental health diagnoses, and death threats for someplace like Reddit.

Re: Any LGBT 14er finishers?
It seems like roughly a few percent of both men and women are homosexual or bisexual, so I'd expect tens of non-straight finishers, since sexual orientation and mountaineering skill/interest are likely uncorrelated. That lack of correlation also makes the number not very interesting, other than noting its being too small to form a Meetup group. Fortunately the pool of hikers is much larger.

You should really go beyond simple search for keywords and employ more in-depth reading of this forum, because it's awesome. Imagine what humanity would have lost if Moz simply outed himself, instead of creating such rich and textured body of work. https://genius.com/The-smiths-hand-in-glove-lyrics

What a lame post.

What's the acceptance level of PEDs for finishing the 14ers? Is it more like don't ask, don't tell; or is it more like figure skating we-dont-care?

ME! I am an LGBTQ+ 14er finisher. I am looking for a queer women's 14ers group. Anyone know of any?
