Mt Killimijaro Trip

Post by Budweisser52 »

Planning a trip to Africa this summer. Would like to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Would appreciate any and all feedback from folks who have personally completed the climb. Which tour group did you use. Time of year completed. Any do's and don'ts. I have climbed 22 Colorado 14ers. Thanks.

We used Gladys and they were really good. We camped next to Zara which also gets great reviews but we had better food and more extras for a lower price.

Make sure to climb Mt. Meru too. It is more scenic, more interesting, has a lot more wildlife, and is cheaper than climbing Kilimanjaro.
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.
