Hayduke Trail

Seems someone around here has mentioned the Hayduke Trail in southern UT/northern AZ. Was that you oldschool?? Here's a new article either way... https://www.sltrib.com/news/environment ... ern-utahs/

I watched the documentary referenced in the video. The article and the documentary are both kind of fascinating. Not something I would be interested in doing, but fascinating nevertheless.

Yeah, that was me Stu. I have done the first 2 sections and the rest is on my agenda. I'm super motivated to get the rest done. I have spent lots of time on CalTopo mapping lines and alternates. I had such a great time on sections 1 and 2.

I'm looking to do a section of this in October / November with a bunch of alternates thrown in and some sort of traverse of the Grand Canyon. No other long backpacking trips appeals nearly as much.
