If anyone got a chance to see the aurora this weekend, would love to see your photos, and where you were.
We were north of Long Island NY and got a glimpse Friday night. Didn't really see much with the naked eye, nor did I have my normal camera setup but took handheld shots with my phone and was able to see some of the green which was cool.
Aurora this weekend?

It's a blurry shot, given the 6 second exposure while freeholding a smartphone in the air, but you can see some color

Ended up about 25 mins NNE of Cheyenne, these were around 10:30p-11p. The less vibrant is fairly close to what I felt like to my eyes, we did see some movement in the bands.

Re: Aurora this weekend?
These pictures are at my apartment in the middle of Boulder. I took these with an iPhone camera with a 3-10 second exposure (night mode). There is a streetlight in the parking lot directly below me but the increased exposure time really captured the color. With the unaided eye, the colors were much fainter, but were still visible. The purple/pink light seemed to be concentrated in the western part of the sky, while the green was all across the northern horizon.
I edited the color slightly on this one, to make the purple more vibrant. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
