I am on a trip to the Elks and downloaded the descriptions and pictures for the Bells and Pyramid. When I opened the app on airplane mode it continued to try to connect for an update, but obviously could not on airplane mode. This defeats the purpose of downloading for offline use. I think the app should check airplane mode first and then stop searching for updates. I had to delete and reinstall the app after down out of the valley.
