Grand Teton Conditions

Post by Ethanber »

Hey! Not a 14er post, but looking to see if anyone has beta on the Grand Teton conditions. Any ice, snow? Need crampons or ice axes? Looking to climb end of July. Thanks!

Looks like there is an update from yesterday on the authoritative Wyoming Whiskey site: https://wyomingwhiskey.blogspot.com/. It's near the top of the page.

You can call the rangers station for more information. Climbing rangers get up that way pretty regularly: https://www.nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/climb.htm

There is also a “Grand Teton Climbing” Facebook page.

I’ll be heading there next week and can post an update.

That should not impact the OS or Exum ridge routes.
