For that second one, you have to pay for forecasts beyond 2 days. For $27/year, though, I don't feel too bad supporting these guys (they do this mostly for fun, not as a full time thing)
From my experience, Mountain Forecast is pretty useless in Colorado and very inaccurate. Surprisingly, I found it to be pretty accurate in places like Mexico.
I agree and have heard similar things from other people. NOAA is my go to in Colorado/Utah, but I have used Mountain Forecast twice now while climbing the Mexican volcanoes and was surprised by the accuracy of forecast temps, wind speed, etc.
