Honnold + Anker in Antartica

Post by Matt »

This looks like a pretty gnarly expedition: If nothing else, this is a fun read.

I think Anker is presenting on this trip at Neptune in Boulder next Thursday (February 8th, maybe?). I think there's a Facebook event floating around somewhere on the Neptune page.

I'm surprised Anker took on this trip, as he suffered a heart attack on an expedition in ~2016. Hopefully, he can talk about this at Neptunes.

Looks like an Antarctic Patagonia Mountain. Would blow my mind to be sitting on a sheet of ice that thick.

This event sold out in like 30 min according to Neptune.

There is a great picture on there that looks like Capitol's Knife Edge on steroids, with a 5.high climb on the far end of it. Crazy stuff.
