Just do it as an fkt and you'll be fine.
I still find it funny that you bring this up. I think maybe 2 “FKT’ers” have climbed Lindsey this year compared to very probable 200+ regular people that have climbed it. You do realize it gets climbed all of the time by random people, right?
Lol I'm not dumb. I know it gets climbed. Probably everyday at that. I mostly post it to entertain and make you laugh :-D I find it funny though that this poor guy wants to finish the 14ers and gets shamed by the community. Meanwhile, others get cheered on.

Fair enough haha. I do get a good chuckle everytime I see it I’m not gonna lie. But yea, I see your point. I think Dad and other poor guy should just climb the mountain and stop asking questions. It’s ultimately his choice 🤷🏼

I support Dad, climb the mountain!

The update to the Colorado Recreational Use Statute goes into effect on August 7th. Maybe access will change after that.

That's interesting the sign has allegedly been taken down. Sounds like this is good news

sounds like vandalism to me, but looking forward to the resolution to access and insulation from liability for the landowners

Agree. I would assume vandalism, as well, especially considering the number of times people stole the signs on Bross, too. Sign theft by disgruntled parties is unfortunate.

In case anyone else has been waiting with bated breath... The updated legislation goes into effect on Wednesday, August 7th, per https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb24-058
Fingers crossed for an announcement of legal access soon!

Hoping we get some news on this really soon. I'm down to the final four and hoping to finish in the next 3 weeks.

I hope this is understood by everybody, but for the good of the cause...

From what I understand, the change in legislation does not in any way, shape, or form *obligate* any landowner to grant access. So while one can hope and pray for that, it's definitely not a guarantee. And completely understandable if landowners need time to consider. I, personally, would not expect any landowner to feel at all incentivized to move quickly on this IF they are feeling amiable toward accommodating access.

I haven't done Lindsey yet. Excited to if I ever can, but happy to patiently wait. :)

Last I heard they're still working on the website for the online waiver system. An announcement will be made here when finished.
