10.9lbs for everything except running shorts/shirts/socks + food. 8.6lbs of food (4500 cals). Mostly Scratch Superfuel, nut butters, protein bars and some dried fruit.

Andrea at 11 peaks in 28h 24m. Absolutely crushing it. Still on pace for sub 48 (in fact, she’s closer to on pace for something like 45 or 46 hours  )!!

Should I mention Andrew and Andrea went halfway up Shavano the night before just to double check what the terrain looked like for a route option for the next morning? I got to the trailhead and walked 5 minutes and felt winded from sitting all day.

Probably not, great effort from you regardless J! Curious if Andrea will do the “ultimate scree surf” off of Elbert into the casco drainage

Go Andrea go!! Just unreal speed!
Any estimates on how far under her goal time she'll finish? I'm getting a sense of definitely under 45 hours at this rate.
"The love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth, the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need – if only we had the eyes to see." -Ed Abbey

"I get scared sometimes—lots of times—but it's not bad. You know? I feel close to myself. When I'm out there at night, I feel close to my own body, I can feel my blood moving, my skin and my fingernails, everything, it's like I'm full of electricity and I'm glowing in the dark—I'm on fire almost—I'm burning away into nothing—but it doesn't matter because I know exactly who I am." from The Things They Carried

Hey guys! So I’m at the fish hatchery currently thought i would give an update. We figure Andrea may have gone out a little hard yesterday. I joined her for Columbia-Huron and it was rough. She was so tired and just couldn’t shake it. So we were consistently missing our splits and by the time we reached clohesy lake she was really demoralized. What’s crazy though is that when she is “toast” she still moves at a pretty decent pace. When I’m toast i really slow down.

So somehow after that night giving up all the gains she made on day 1, she was still just clinging on to our 48 hour splits. Anyway today has been a deathmarch, she is not having a lot of fun but we keep convincing her to go out for another one. And even though she is moving slow for her she may be able to hit 46 hours which just blows my mind!

She is so emotional right now she really just wants to cry. It is pretty hard for me to watch. Can’t wait for her to finish up in the morning. Thankfully we have an amazing team helping out not sure how we can thank them.
