Major Site Updates

Post by BillMiddlebrook »

While you were out hiking over the holiday weekend I applied major software updates to the site server which required a bunch of changes to site pages. Please post in this thread if you're having problems posting peak condition updates, TH status updates, trip reports, etc.
Thanks!

I tried to comment on a Conundrum condition report and got this URL, with a completely white/blank page: https://www.14ers.com/php14ers/peakstat ... 627#bottom. I refreshed the page and it appeared again, but without my new comment.

I'll be honest, I'm getting tired of doing this. The site is starting to feel like a kid who refuses to move out of the house.

I might feel differently after a few days of fishing. 🎣🎣

Not sure if related, but I attempted (twice) to attach photos to a peak conditions update and it didn't seem to work. I added the photos and hit confirm and it said that the changes were saved, but upon visiting the update, there were no photos.

Well, at 19 years old the site is officially Gen Z, so not wanting to move out makes sense.

We all greatly appreciate the effort you put into the site, Bill!

You have to press Start Upload after you add the photos inside the editor, and before you save the updates.
