The crux gully is mid-July condition with the middle portion melted out. Remaining snow in the mid to upper gully is firm and still plentiful. Below the gully there is still a large amount of snow in the debris pile. The dirt/scree in the middle was easily managed - not too loose. Photos (click for slideshow):
