Details
no snow, full of blossoming flowers, summer conditions. Important note: FS431 (Buffalo Peaks Rd) is gated from JAN01-JUN10/15 maybe a mile from HW285. I found it hard way 2 weeks ago, but today it was open and I could finally hike these 13ers. Photos (click for slideshow):

Tim A	the hard way 06/17/2018 13:33 I drove down there on June 14th and found the gate closed with a sign saying it would open June 15th. Ended up hiking Weston and Ptarmigan instead. Thanks for the report verifying it's now open!
majtytom	seasonal closure 06/17/2018 18:53 It is interesting that I could not find any information on the internet about when this seasonal closure starts/ends...maybe it is different every year. I was thinking that it will be open at least from Memorial day weekend, but I was wrong. In addition, it is funny that on the very first gate just when you get off of hw285, the sign says JUN15, but that gate was open even before. However, the second gate maybe a mile further was closed and had sign saying JUN10. So it is a bit confusing and that is why I said above JUN10/15. Anyhow, it is open now.
