Parked at lower trailhead in 6 inches of snow. It looked like in the past few days vehicles had tried unsuccessfully to make it to the upper trailhead. I used snowshoes the entire route. 75% of the time they were necessary. Snow covers the entire trail, making route finding fun. The snow goes from sugary to solid with no warning. Cornice forming on Peerless.

What are you considering as the upper and lower trailheads?
I assume the upper is near the gate.
But the lower?
