Parked at lower trailhead in 6 inches of snow. It looked like in the past few days vehicles had tried unsuccessfully to make it to the upper trailhead. I used snowshoes the entire route. 75% of the time they were necessary. Snow covers the entire trail, making route finding fun. The snow goes from sugary to solid with no warning.
