The road starts off dry then turns into packed snow and varies from snow to dry. I made it past Leavick Mine and through a couple small snow drifts but didn't chance it on the last one that had tire marks as it went on for a ways and I didn't feel like digging my car out just in case. Not far past that was another snow drift that no one has driven past yet. I parked 0.8 miles from the gate closure at 11,700ft. The trail varied from bone dry to packed snow also all the way to the top. I followed the road up to where Hilltop mine is/was, then lost the trail and basically had to scale up a cornice to reach the Sheridan-Sherman saddle. From there it was fairly easy to reach the top. I lucked out with 0-5 mph winds. The way back down I went down the other side and it was so much easier, up until it reaches a 'road' that goes back down to the Dauntless Mine, the snow covered the entire road in spots and made it sketchy to walk across that hard snow at an angle with a minor drop off on the right. Overall with the loop I did it was 5.8 miles round trip. I added a couple photos of Sherman too for conditions. Also, I wore microspikes the whole time but I was tempted to take them off for half of it cause it kept going from dry to snowy
