Went up the Grand today. Conditions were ideal. Headed across to Taylor after that.

Thanks for the booter Brad! Summitted around 11:00 AM yesterday and waited for 1.5 hours with 10 other skiers who had climbed up at various times that morning. People started descending around noon and the snow was in great shape. FYI for skiers, you'll want to carry your skis up about a quarter mile or so as there are a few bare patches on the road. There's also one slide path maybe 1 mile in that you'll have to remove skis for but it's small and easy to go over with skis off.

just to add

For those coming up with skis and plan to get Taylor, I wish i brought my tennis shoes, because from the Aetna-Taylor saddle it is completely dry. Rock hopping in ski boots is tiring.
Snow was perfect for ski descent today

The snow on the road was still supportive for us about 11 AM, but it was softening quickly.
