Lots of snow in the area, and large cornices as well. Was able to skin from the parking lot up to a shallow buttress. From there it was all snow to the ridge. The backside of Hassell is a mix of snow and rock, but it's definitely skiable from the summit on the front-side. Photos (click for slideshow):
