Not yet summer conditions. Trail dry for first half mile, then few inches of water on trail until 11,700 when it turns to snow. Snowshoes nice in the morning, mandatory on the way back down. Needed ice axe and crampons to get past point 13,248. Dry from 13600 to summit.

Would you expect the same snow on the trail to Notch Mountain right now ? Thx!!

Micro spikes?

I've an ice ax, but no crampons. Would microspikes cut it to get past point 13,248 by your judgement?

Yes, I'd expect the same snow on the trail to Notch Mountain right now, but once you make it to the ridge the rest of the trail should be snow free in the areas that matter. Here's a video from the ridge:

I needed crampons to get past point 13,248, and couldn't have done it with microspikes, but the snow's melting fast and in a week or so there should be an easier path past Point 13,373.
