Details
Snow-free excepting a small patch on the trail just above Kite Lake. The conditions report from 7/4 showed a lot more snow on the route over to the power lines than what exists now - it's a marshy mess thanks to rapid melt, leading to some fast-flowing streams and a lot of hidden puddles in the willows. I ended up finding a crossing deeper in the basin over snow. Plan on wet feet if you go any time soon.
