Details
We completed the Ridge hike. We missed the trail marker where we should have left the gravel road, so we ended up scrambling up through the grass up the side of the first ridge for the first ascent up to beginning of the ridge part. Windy on the ridges and on most of the smaller peaks along the way. Otherwise summer conditions (no snow to cross). It was as long as advertised, and the endless smaller peaks (bumps) did cause us to reconsider whether to continue a few times, but we made it to Hoosier Peak. Great view along the way, and the ups and downs along the way were definitely a change from some of the bigger 14ers we have done. I recommend this hike!
